The Accommodation
Our holiday caravan
enjoys spectacular views of St Brides Bay and overlooks fields grazed by our rare-breed cattle and sheep. The caravan has two
bedrooms: one with a double bed, the other with two full-length bunk beds suitable for adults or children. The large sitting
room, with dining area has a gas fire, a colour T.V. with video and DVD player. There are also maps, books, games and
leaflets on local attractions. The well-equipped kitchen has a new full-size gas cooker, microwave and fridge with a
small freezer compartment. The shower room includes a washbasin and there is a separate WC. Outside there is a raised
sun deck with wooden garden furniture for you to enjoy an alfresco meal or to watch the sun set.
The Local Area
Shortlands Farm is ideally positioned for exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast. The Coast Path runs through the farm and,
from the end of the farm lane, you can catch the Puffin shuttle bus that runs north to St David’s and south to Milford Haven,
during the summer months. The beach at Druidston Haven is a ten minute walk away. This is a great place for children with a mile
of sand at low tide. Cliff-top wild flowers are at their best in spring while seal pups are a late summer attraction.
Sea and beach fishing and horse riding are also available locally.
Directions
Take the A487 from Haverfordwest towards St David’s and Turn Left at Simpson Cross (sign to Nolton). Turn Right at 2nd crossroads,
by red telephone kiosk, into Dead End signed road. Follow to very end of tarmac onto farm lane and Shortlands is a further 250 yards.
